I am driven by curiosity. I seek to know how things fit together and function in the world around them. I love design because it is like a puzzle; one where you make the pieces before getting to put them together. I always create with an end function in mind.

Eleanor Ball was born in Charleston, South Carolina. She earned her BFA in Fibers from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2017. She is heavily influenced by the relaxed culture of the coastal Southeast. She works in a variety of media, including leatherworking, woven structures, knitwear, and print design. She aspires to create functional pieces that fit seamlessly into the consumer’s life and will last for generations.
